They planned a season 2 for Spartan Ops in Halo 4, but it wasn’t propular enough to carry the enthusiasm for it. So they just continued the story in the Halo comic “Escalation” with the prequel “The Next 72 Hours” filling in.
So go and read them or watch some reviews of the story online to get the story that was Spartan ops 2.

Also let us play as Blue Team. We only got 3 missions with Blue Team in the Campaign; there should also be new skulls from Halo: Anniversary, REQ items scattered throughout the missions like Jorge’s Chaingun, the Halo 2 Battle Rifle, the Halo: CE Magnum, Hannibal Mantis Phaeton Helios… you get the idea.
Personally wasn’t a fan of the original spartan ops. The AI seemed to be spread out very poorly and they spammed you. Seemed like the game mode revolved around the respawn system rather than checkpoints.
That being said it did actually have a pretty cool story line. And now with the much improved multiplayer cannon of H5 I like the idea of taking my spartan out of the training lobbies of warzone and actually doing missions. Though I pray if it were to happen that they’d improve the level design.
Definitely think a blue team series would be awesome. Cover what happened in the comics, a lot of us want to know and play the reunion and redeployment of blue team, i’ve read some but I much rather playing the story than reading Halo comic books.
