add Spartan ops to halo 5 please 343
I was a fan of Spartan Ops and I was very disappointed when Season 2 didn’t happen for Halo 4. I am a big fan of the Cinematics the story of the Halo Universe unfolding before your eyes is what has keep me involved and loving the Series. I would like to see the story continue if some shape or form in Halo 5. A new version of Spartan Ops would be nice to see.
I was having this conversation with a buddy the other day. We both really enjoyed Spartan Ops despite it’s flaws. We thought it was fun to have an new episodic adventure every week adding onto the story and exploring more characters. The challenges for them were always fun and a easy yet balanced way to get some xp. I don’t think I would want Spartan Ops to replace a real and not watered down Firefight mode but if they are to repeat Halo 5’s firefight just give us spartan ops. Having both would be my all time dream but since doing the campaign, arena, probably warzone, and maybe firefight optimistically. Asking for another mode such as spartan ops would be too much for 343i. Spartan Ops had me coming back to Halo 4 while Halo 5 doesn’t offer much to have me coming back, especially since the monthly DLC’s are finished.
I don’t think we will get Spartan Ops 2. If you look at the comics, they rapped up the story (which was the cliff-hanger at the end of Spartan Ops 1), and they would have to make a new story.
I think that Spartan Ops was done extremely well, the story was interesting and followed on each episode and kept player wanting more. Even though some of the levels where recycled a few times, it still made an amazing addition. As for the episodes themselves, the animation was great - I would go as far to say that Spartan Ops cut scenes where better than Halo 5.
But with all this, Spartan Ops cost 343 a lot of money to make (mainly on the cut scenes) and sadly, they said it did not make them what they thought it would.
If a stand-alone Spartan Ops 2 came out (for digital download only) that cost around $20 for 5 episodes, then $20 for the next 5 episodes, it could make a come back.
Please add 343
