So does anyone know how 343 plans on revealing the Episodes for Spartan Ops.?

Not particularly all I know is they are a weekly event.Kind of like a television show.
Weekly, but the way of transportation is unknown. We only received hints in the podcast/GI.
I heard the Game Informer interview. It sounds like it would be interesting, but 343 didn’teven know what they are going to do yet. My theory is it is still a work-in-progress that probably won’t work and gets cut from the game.
It is possibly the first video gaming series ever made. But I don’t think they will be able to pull it off, at least, not once a week. It is like saying they are going to add a new campaign mission every week. Unless they make the first dozen episodes in advance, it just won’t happen.

You’re awfully positive about something we barely even know about. I don’t think it’ll get cut, but it may not be what we’ve been anticipating since then. It could be something to really support the story and make the player think that much more along with making them feel like they’ve really just done that, or just a run-and-gun where you’re still a boss without much help needed.

I hope they can pull it off, I am just saying it SOUNDS like they are going to have to put more effort into this than the rest of the game. I hope it comes out exactly as they say it will, but if you looked at the big picture, you will realize how massive a task it would be to make something like they describe.
I think they are either done with spartan ops or almost done with them and are releasing them weekly to extend the longevity of Halo 4

It shouldn’t be better than the main story itself, it should just clip on with it at points throughout the entire game. It won’t be that hard, considering that they have multiple people from multiple countries working on the whole project at once.
It’s about like saying that you need three types of milk for one type of cheese when you really just need the one.

If it doesn’t make the game (I’m sure it will), I hope they have some Firefight mode or something to put in. Imagine if they had no spartan ops or firefight in Halo 4… DISASTER!
OT: I think we will be getting much more information at E3, I think they said it was going to be the most information ever given for a Halo game at E3 or something like that.

Like I said earlier, the only way they could meet their once a week deadline would be to have most or all of the episodes ready to go. The way they were discussing SO, it is supposed to be another campaign entirely, just not revealed all at once. Which brings me back to wondering if it will come pre-loaded onto the disk, or something you have to download weekly, taking up a massive hardrive space.

I never said it will be BETTER than the campaign. I said it will be HARDER to make than the main campaign. Not only will the whole project be as long as the average campaign, but they only have a week to release the next segment. So they will either have to make the whole thing before release, o enough to be able to get the next set going while the first one is released one week at a time.

Good point I didn’t think on the hardrive space it would take via download.Maybe all episodes will come on the disk and each week you can download a code to unlock an episode?

I don’t think you would need a code for unlock. It will probably come like a sort of Title Update.
I assume there will be more detail regarding Spartan Ops at E3.

And while I have everyone’s attention, what would you think if Spirit of Fire made its appearance in the new trilogy? And what are the odds of it actually happening?

Much better idea than mine lol

When is E3 anyway?
Does ANYONE know when E3 comes around?
