Just finished the campaign and it was terrible! Spartan locke is a soulless drone who’s got the charisma of a piece of bark , I actually enjoyed some of the gameplay but the story is horrible halo 4’s story was much better , I don’t want to fight the same type of boss over and over again , how can you big up a campaign so much and have no payoff ? I hate spartan locke please make sure he never comes back! !!

I thought Locke was pretty good, he’s definitely different to what most people think how he’s going to be. He fitted the role pretty well, and makes a fine Spartan.

Who is he tho ? Whys he just thruster into unsc’s most important missions without any back story or any explanation of who he is
I haven’t played the game yet but I assume Locke will be quite cool. Also, a fan is somebody who likes something, yes? You, I assume, call yourself a Halo fan but with a username like that, I wouldn’t call you a fan. Like it or not, 343i is here to stay so if all you are going to do is rant about it then there is not much point you being on Waypoint or playing Halo at all.

Got to sat I’ve heard some poor reviews by people that have played the game, but not a single criticism has been about locke, considering he was probably one of the things people were most wary of that seems reassuring. Also I’m finding it hard to consider you a reliable judge given you’re username.

Here is the backstory: his planet was attacked by the Covenant and Master Chief and other UNSC tried to save his planet but couldn’t stop it from being glassed. Locke blames Chief. Locke became a bounty hunter in his young adulthood and was noticed by ONI. He was recruited at ONI. There is your back story.
