“But now I must save us… from you.” Locke readies his finger over the trigger as a pile of ashen rubble on his six collapses. He swiftly pivots, spotting two dark eyes for only a fraction of a second before the clash of metal on metal sends him sprawling into the dirt. Even the most advanced armor system ONI could buy could not belay the pain of hundreds of pounds crushing down on his chest in the form of an armored, cloven hoof.
“Were it so easy,” mutters the ironclad Sangheili as he presses his weight further into the Spartan’s chest.
