Why did they change the Spartan Laser mechanics so much? As soon as the laser charges up and fires, I find it near impossible to keep on target due to the recoil. In a game where most other power weapons are very easy to use (and/or have no recoil) I’m not sure why they made the SL the way it is. There are far more effective ways to take out a vehicle, and that’s an issue in my mind, because the SL is known as an anti vehicle weapon.
Maybe my experience is different from yours but the Laser doesn’t have recoil until after the laser is shot! I could be mistaken but keeping the vehicle in question on target is very easy if the driver isn’t paying attention! If youre fighting an air vehicle or a good driver then they may be great at dodging but I’m not sure of your situation! But off hand I don’t think the recoil affects the shot itself and once you fire the recoil is gone and the cool down takes enough time to realign. that’s my thoughts. I personally have both a cert for the standard Laser and Serlenes lance and they both are great atm.
