The default Spartan IV armor already looks better than every single piece of armor in Reach’s armory. Props to 343 for that, even if they aren’t just aesthetic. If that is default I can’t wait to see what the rest looks like.
I love the way Spartan IV’s look. Of course, a lot of people don’t. Maybe it’s because the helmets look like a cross between a rogue and military police?
Yeah I really liked the armor too. It looked more futuristic and it fits these new Spartans quite well. The people who dont like it can simply resort to another look. I like it though. I cant wait to see others.

Ya’ll can -Yoink- off, this game looks amazing in every aspect. Especially for the studio’s first game. Wait for the final product, or shut up.
I find it ironic how so many players that praise and salivate over new gameplay mechanics get upset with new aesthetics in multiplayer. Not talking about anyone in the thread but just in general.

The spartan IV armor looks epic
liked everything better than older models except the helmet. Of course, there will be plenty of helmets to choose from (even Chief’s) knowing halo games.
It looks fine to me, but it doesn’t have a lot of personality compared to say the Commando helmet or EVA or CQB you know? I will miss the robotic arms from Reach, they were cool.
I think it looks like crap halo it’s about big gold visor, about looking good when taking pics. And what’s with big mouth piece?.Default helmet is awful, Love the new chief looks good hope we can use it Multiplayer. And one more thing Great move to bring the BR but it looks a bit clunky.

I’m not arguing but you shouldn’t generalize the community. I don’t personally fit into either of the categories opinions you made, but I like to think of myself as a Veteran player. I also understand there are people of both groups who fit what you said.
It looks like it belongs in Crysis.
I was hoping for a more traditional Halo helmet, but in reality it’s fine. I’m just hoping for more helmets than.
I sort of take back what I said earlier about the new armor. Its just going to take some… ugh… getting used to.
It fits the epic scfi that halo should have always been.
It’s not necessarily bad, better than the default helmet for Halo Reach, it also looks similar to the Hayabusa helmet.
But everyone has their tastes, and that’s where customization comes in.
