Spartan-IV Armor Improvement...

I am not asking for 343 Industries to re-render, or re-create, another set of Mjolnir Power Assault Armor for Halo 5: Guardians, I am simply stating what makes the GEN2 Mjolnir Power Assault Armor so drastically disliked, is the detailing and coloring.

For example;

Halo 4

Halo: Reach

I fully support this, black undersuits make Spartan look so much better.

The art design in all of 343s work is genuinely -Yoink-, including armor.

I will admit I’m not a fan of Halo 4/5’s upper body undersuit being the same color as your armor…

Yes I agree that the under suit should be all black again, and it should also look ‘thicker’ (reach) and not like a ‘snakeskin’ (h4)

I just see the black undersuit, slim-fit or otherwise, generates focus toward the armor pieces themselves. I personally like the “snake-skin” versions as it make it look more integrated and agile.

Alright so I watch a few customisation videos about Halo 5: Guardians armor systems… its a good start to see the coloring at least appear with more contrast and detail, yet, there is still the issue of the underarmor appearing like the primary color; so my suggestion is simply make a new pallet color called armor detail like in Halo 3, it would simply change the underarmor color pieces; so having three exclusive color schemes.

Similarly, the Space Diaper (Space Belt in Reach?) never should’ve been removed.

All my yes.

Oh god yes.

It’s stifling that the actual promotional armor renders for Halo 5 DID have black body suits, yet they adamantly refuse to use black suits on the in-game MM models. It’s false advertised, in way…

Quote for truth.

Black “snakeskin” under armor is best.

Like has already been said, it looks agile and it emphasises the actual customizable armor pieces.

another thing that would make gen 2 armor look better.

is to get rid of the -Yoink- huge size, i mean, serious, the armor itself is ginormous, huge thi plate that magically float near the should, vambrace that are twice as thick as the forearms they are meant to protect.

the armor is so big, thats it become comical which ruins the armor from a aesthetic standpoint, it make it feel like, instead of wearing armor of advance metal composite, we are wearing painted Styrofoam.

Agree with you here. Haven’t been a fan of the armour since Reach.

XD totally looks like spray painted styrofoam! I think they should hire the old armour art designer back. And maybe the forerunner aesthetic guy as well. Covenant guy can stay, his/her new ship designs are awesome!
