Something has been irking me about the Spartan IV’s color since I first saw them in screen shots, yet I was unable to place it.
Recently, that is to say the UNSC Weapons video, I realized what it is.
The under-armor mesh. In all prior Halo games it has been black or a slight variant there of. However in Halo 4 you have bits that are black but you also have a significant bit that is the color of the player (red, blue, etc.). This leads to an appearance of TOO MUCH color on the Spartan and in mu opinion aesthetically unpleasing.
What are your opinions?
I noticed it in the RvB video, but when I saw the gameplay it didn’t bother me at all.

I totally agree. If maybe it was something that could me a tertiary color that would be awesome. But just being the same as the rest of the armor looks too blue or too red.
I dislike the new colouring for the body suit. My spartan is too green now…They did it right for Chief in Halo 4 but not the IV’s.
I still wait for Indigo blue 
I agree, more colors are always cool
I think I’m in the minority here, I’ve always wanted more matt military colors and camo patterns.
Bright colors for military personnel seems a poor strategic choice.
