With all of the speculation going around about who the person on the top of newly released picture, I realized that it looked like the chief was almost like a reflection of the character. The reason for that is because they are almost identical. How do I know this? Because at the beginning of halo 4 (the prologue) the person who was interrogating Halsey was trying to recreate the chief. It seems weird that they would say that in the prologue, then never do anything with it. That is why I am almost 100% sure it is him. Please comment your thoughts and opinions.
I’m pretty sure they were just referring to the s4 program as a whole weren’t they? Interesting point though.
That’s actually a good point but I really doubt it. The interrogator was trying to find out how Halsey created the Chief, and how Chief succeeded because at his core he was broken. The spartan 4’s were not created how chief was. Their training wasn’t near as difficult, and they weren’t captured as children. I think this guy is who they are talking about since they made a big deal out of it.

Fair enough…But that raises another question; Halsey states that said interrogator was not ONI. Why then is the spartan wearing an ONI emblem? Unless he would have had to collaborate with ONI to create the spartan, but under what authority? He would need approval first, right?
I’ve been wondering if the ONI Spartan is that interrogator’s answer to a Spartan IV Master Chief. Could definitely be. Especially with the poster being a mirror image.
The replacement he was talking about could simply be the S-IV.
And we get the line that he is not ONI and now we see a spartan with ONI emblem. Why complicating things so much?
Yes, ONI develops Mjolnir, the technologies, but that’s also for all S-IV and they don’t have an ONI emblem.
