After drawing the Arbiter Portrait I have posted here, I figured I’d draw at least one more Halo drawing before returning to drawing my own kind of stuff.
Right Now this is a VERY light sketch of the planned drawing, which will most likely be in color to avoid confusion between the lines/detail on the HUD and the Floor/Shotgun.

I plan to update this when I start coloring (most likely tomorrow) so you guys can see the finished thing.

My personal critiques are his pinky looks a little pointy and personally the HUD seems a little too dominating. Other than that Im excited to see how it turns out.
Haha I didn’t even notice how pointy the pinky was. I guess he’ll jab enemies to death instead of shooting them.
I plan on trimming away a lot of the top of the paper to remove that unused portion, as well as make the inside of the helmet (not visor) a little blurred out to focus the drawing on his arm and the shotgun.
EDIT: Oh I see you meant the HUD details like the shield bar and stuff. That’ll be outlined in a light blue so it won’t seem as dominating (I hope).

That’s pretty sick, though I would say as well that the HUD is dominating. Leaves too much blank, it almost looks like the CQB helmet, lol.

I believe the OP said he is going to cut it down eventually. I said the same thing to him as well.

Sorry for the wait guys. I decided to edit the line drawing a bit more before starting to color. The top edge still hasn’t been trimmed.
Here’s a breakdown of what I did:

Added left hand to help show the Spartan is on the ground

Added crack in the visor (may or may not stay in color version)

Edited pinky to be slightly less pointy

Edited overall visor shape and size

Just saw the updated version, its looking pretty cool! I noticed how you added a crack on his visor, it looks like this may be a very dark picture 
i didnt even see the crack till i really looked for it lol
but yeah it looks really good im curious as to what kind of medium are
you going to use.
Its this going to be traditional art or digital?
Yeah the scanner in my printer really brightens things up a lot. I plan on coloring it in with colored pencils, but I may also do a digital version.
As a side note I thought the cracked visor would really tie a lot of the drawing together. There’s the dot on the radar which will eventually be red, and the shield bar will also be depleted. Couple that with the cracked visor and I think it will really make it stand out that this dude is getting beat up pretty badly.
