This is absolute bs in blitz
Playing as forge I call in grizzlies and tanks and vultures however there’s a cutter on the other team who’s calling in Spartans.
They steal my units and I don’t get the energy back so effectively all the units I’m calling in are going straight to him.
Now my hijacked units are killing my remaining army and I’ve got no energy.

Isabel/Anders/Cutter (especially him) I simply build counters and at least 3 snipers. Then and only then I build grizzly if there is any time left.

I haven’t quite worked out if you can kill a Spartan while it’s hijacking a vehicle. If not then it becomes OP, because I could have 3 Snipers take down its shield and a lot of it’s health then it just jacks an vehicle and live even though you have the counters for it. If some one can confirm this for me that would be great.

It happened a few times where I wiped the army as he had mainly spartans but there would still be a spartan or 3 hijacking the vehicles and my units would just sit there doing nothing.
I have snipers in my Forge deck but they just dont do enough DPS before the spartan is withing jacking range.
As soon as the rest of my army is in range then its too late.
In my opinion the Spartans need to be substantially weaker whilst hijacking vehicles so that the ability can’t be spammed when the Spartan is surrounded by enemy units. Maybe make the Spartans 100% weaker to all sources of damage whilst hijacking. I’d say that the ability should only really be used on solo vehicles that have been left unprotected by the opponent such as Artillery. Maybe more people would use the ground slam attack if hijacking wasn’t so OP.

yeah I noticed it also they cant be stopped with a ARMY surrounding them whether its in blitz OR co-op OR even 3 v 3 PVP I cant seem to stop them and my Spartans cant seem to be stopped while in hi-jacking mode.

I know your units will shoot at the hijacking Spartan but I think because their health is high and the actual hijack is over to quickly they can’t kill them in time
You need to tell your units to open fire in a hijacking Spartan: otherwise they don’t because they’ll shoot your own unit.
4 things which help here:
Sight-lines: Spartan jumps are less than most weapon ranges: have picket units to extend your lines of sight to start shooting at the Spartan quicker as they approach - otherwise only one Spartan (Jerome for Cutter I think, but correct me if I’m wrong) has rush - Blocking units: if you have a wall of units you care less about (even lower vehicles like a ghost) to stop spartans at choke points they’ll be properly pinned back and either have to retreat or hijack a lesser unit. - Use your unit abilities as soon as a Spartan appears to stop them using it against you. - If it’s obvious the spartan wants a particular vehicle then, combine with #2, and run that unit away while shooting/blocking the spartan with everything else

Well I can only speak from experience and they dont. Yes when the spartan is jumping through the air but not when it lands and starts performing the hijack, the other units just stand around.
It was in blitz and other people have confirmed its the same in standard modes

Thanks for the tips, however try and put them in practice in Blitz when you have 2 grizzlies, 2 scorpions 2 vultures, SGT forge and some nightingales and wolverines vs 4 spartans.
I pray you dont because those tips wont help at all.

I get that you’re upset, but in actual fact all that’s happened here is that someone has found a counter to your tactic. If someone had come to the forum asking how to counter the army set-up you describe I’d tell them Spartans, Blast units, or Locusts.
Some deck edits which might help further: Forge’s warthog special ability slows units down, you can run your ground units away with pelican transport, have Kodiaks within range to shell spartans as they approach and ground units post-hijack (also helps if you post picket-units).
You have a strong tactical base there, no doubting it, but no tactic is perfect: Spartans, blast units and (dare I say it) ranged Locusts are counters to a lot of that.
For Blitz: I go into every game with a clear idea of what strategies I might be weak to. The enemy getting 4 spartans is VERY energy-intensive. If you can starve them of energy in the early game it becomes very hard for them to do that.
Also: coordinating strategies with teammates helps: your strategy is energy-heavy and you’re weak to energy heavy-Spartan counters: so teaming up with a Shipmaster with starting ghosts would be a very strong proposition (and Shipmaster dispersal, teleport, and glassing beam could all also help).
Sure: in the situation you describe: at that particular moment maybe there was nothing you could do: I’ve not got all the facts. I’m offering suggestions on how to avoid getting stung like it again and ways which I’d set-up against that counter.
