Spartan fined 3k for speaking out

Ditto. Just because someone isn’t conforming to your preconceived notions doesn’t make them a fraud.

The guy can spend what he wants. He never said you couldn’t buy. He can’t control what other people do with theirvmoney just like you can’t.

He’s playing pubs and just knows how to exploit aim assist, that’s all.

lmao he’s always been a sellout. People have been (rightly) calling him a shill since day 1. The only Halotuber who isn’t a complete 100% sellout is HiddenXperia

I’ve played against him on MCC and another montage youtuber a couple times (fatrat). They just quit in the first minute if they don’t get the sniper/the other players aren’t completely awful. He’s not cheating, just smurfing.

Holy cope. It’s actually because he can’t win BR duels so no team would take him. No disrespect to the guy but he isn’t pro quality.

The people who were part of the ‘Forerunners’ group on Infinite can’t compete for the first year of the game.

Why?
They’re aloud to make multi kill sniper compilation videos against the general population tho?

It was part of the contract because they had such early access and input to the game.

It would be mighty suspicious if people with early access/inside information were winning tournament prize money.

But most of the teams whom appear in the store had access to multiple early builds of the game. They helped play test it. It’s not stopping them.

Yeah? What wrong with that? lol

This has a screen shot of the credits. I don’t see Mint Blitz/Remy listed though.

Yeah he said he was part of the “pilot program”
Whatever that is.

Never heard of it till he mentioned it.
Honestly sounds made up.
Ever heard of it?

I’m not sure what that’s about. I was expecting to find his name on that list.

Assuming that’s actually a real thing, which I doubt as several pros had early access and he isn’t in the credits, it still doesn’t explain why he wasn’t on a pro team in H5 or MCC. Again, back to my anecdotal evidence, he isn’t pro quality. He’s got good aim but he lacks the game sense, tracking and movement to be a pro. My K/D in MCC is 1.04 and I killed him in every BR encounter we had (3/4) before he quit because he wasn’t going to get any clips in that match. Take that for what you will. I’m not trying to act like he’s a scrub or “expose” him, but he wouldn’t make the starting 4 on any pro team in HCS.

That all makes sense to me.

I’ve only recently started following him, so I find all of this interesting.

I saw one of his montage videos pretty early on during Infintes launch window.

I asked in the comments section if he planed to play in HCS as there are too few Aussie teams going, and those on the discord seem to play more age of empires than actually play or follow some cleavage bound e girl than actually scrim or play tourneys. Anyway,

He actually replied and he said he can’t partake in any sort of HCS team because he participated in something called the pilot program and has some dev build of the game.

Which I have never been able to find or see any info on.

The guy was fined for being unprofessional as a figurehead for the HCS. The guy’s actions were an embarrassment to the brand and people should stop defending what was, frankly, petulant childish behaviour.

He deserved it.

Nothing he said was unprofessional. The game is an embarrassment. Not the players keeping it on life support.

That’s because you’re constantly surrounded by people who talked the way he did. No disrespect.

When you’re in a position like Spartan is, you gotta keep cool.

Or else, that happens.

I don’t agree with the fines, but losing your cool has consequences.

Telling Twitter users to go blam themselves is pretty unprofessional.

In any normal job that is grounds for disciplinary. The guy will be lucky if he isn’t packing bags in a supermarket 12 months from now

They were defending the game in the posts weren’t they?
