I’ve scrolled through about five pages on the spartan company forums to see if I could find a company to join and I’m just disappointed. I’m looking for one that is competetive and plays to win, and there’s a ton of them. The problem is that they require 100+ spartan rank, or diamond rank in all playlists or something bs. I understand the reasoning, to make sure every member is proven to have experience and skill, but here’s the thing; those requirements don’t prove that! I’m a rank 30, and by rank 25 I new all the maps by heart. I knew where and when power ups would spawn, where all the weapons were, and where the teams would spawn. That seems like the only reason to require rank 100, because it sure doesn’t prove skill. Now for actual ranks in a playlist, I understand that’s where they see if you are skilled. That’s another problem. I’d easily be Diamond or higher if I had a team to play with. In team slayer, I’ve had games where the whole enemy team is Plat 6 or higher and my team consists of me, two silvers and an unranked, and we would STILL come out on top by a definitive margin. I’m talking 50-30 or better. And that’s with 0 communication between my team and I. Then I’ve had games with me on the better ranked team, and we’d get absolutely crushed. It just doesn’t prove anything. I know, people don’t have to change their company requirements just because some random decided to complain about it on the forums, but at the very least they should know that requirements like these mean nothing.
Why does want high SR?:
Because you have experience playing the game. You know the maps, weapons, vehicles, wz variations, game types etc. But a big point is REQs. A lvl 100 will have more REQs than a lvl 30
Rank
This is obvious and you already know why. A player can say “oh I can get Onyx, I just don’t try for it” but that means nothing to anyone. A good player can prove themselves by meeting the SP companies requirements and getting that rank.
Why is it outrageous to get in!?
Chances are that you’re trying to get into a company with a good bit of progress on Achilles and those companies are usually filled. When you apply you’re basically competing with a member already in the company, so you better be the best player. The player you’re kicking out has spent hours working for Achilles, so it’s rude to replace them with a mediocre player. That’s why it is so strict/outrageous.
Sure its tough, I asked to be apart of many Spartan companies and finally found one a month ago. Now we are getting closer to the Achilles Armor and I know we just want solid active players (currently full) but I know admins watch for activity for each member to ensure we are all working toward the greater good and not just joyriding.
OP, take more time and keep asking for entry into companies and you will find you spot. Plus there is a forum area for that anyways.

Banana Brothers
Why don’t you try lowering your requirements of what you want, it’ll probably help…
But your K/D… like my god. Its better than the average.

I understand the REQ, I hadn’t thought about that importance for warzone. The rank is part is silly, I have been trying to get higher ranks, it’s just near impossible to win consistently when your team is not consistent. And the chances I’m trying to join a company with a full list is 0 because I haven’t tried to join a company with 100/100 members.
