Spartan Company Request

I am the leader of We Need Achi12es Spartan Company and there is a join request that when I try to reject states “Error try again later.” When I click on the profile link it brings up my Halo profile. One of my Lts tried this as well and it brings up his profile. Not sure if this is happening in any other Spartan companies.

What is the gamertag of the user you are having trouble with OP? Let me know and I’ll see about escalating

Can’t you just click on their names and kick them out?

matergamer015 I cannot. I get an error try again later. When I click on the gamertag name it just reroutes me to my own profile.

So your group is full and you have these other players wanting to join. Is that correct?

They are join requests yes but when I try to reject them it says “Error please try again later” I try to go to that gamertag and it just sends me to my own. If one of my Lts try it does the same thing. A couple guys in the company think maybe they deleted their gamertag before I could action on the request.

Hmm, maybe. Just wondering can you kick any inactive member of your clan?

Yes I just discharged a couple the other day for inactivity.

Just to experiment I tried to reply to their request. It says invalid gamertag. So at some point between requesting to join and me trying to reject the request they cancelled their account. And now they’re stuck in there.

That sounds annoying. I was going to suggest to start the clan again then I realised the commendations probably wouldn’t carry over. Hmmm sounds like we need a 343 support member to help out.

I mean a possible solution might be have their account removed from waypoint, then put back on?

It sounds like they changed their Gamertags and the system’s just not picking up on that.

Requests/invites expire at some point so in theory, they should just fall off and disappear at some point.

No. Your Waypoint account is your Microsoft account. You cannot simply “remove” an account from here and re-add it. That’s not how the system works.

Yeah I definitely can’t restart the company at almost 98% completion to Achilles. Hopefully like snickerdoodle said they will just expire after time.

Sorry it was just a suggestion. I don’t know how waypoint works to the core.

The suggestions are still appreciated.

The first of the stuck requests did finally drop off. Thankfully! Thank you all for the info.
