This is a great idea. Custom ranks within companies to reward members with, designate good leaders, or just to be cool if you’re more casual. Certainly an option for the future I should think. Though it may be awhile, before 343 considers further ideas to improve companies. They are, what, a day old now? Changes and improvements are likely a ways off. Nevertheless, good idea.

Yes
You can promote/demote members if you’re the leader, but it’s not very “in-depth” or anything. Would be cool to see a company battle sort of event. Like CoD clan wars or weekly Faction things in MKX. Spice things up a little.
Hell yeah man. That is a big problem with the clans in Destiny. You are either Founder, Admin or… Pleb. Not accurate enough to be respectful to long term contributing members of the group.

It would be great if we had the option to have customisable ranks within our Spartan Companies. I feel like the current ranking system, with only 3 ranks, is way too broad and rather restricting. It also hampers the ability for a Company to really present themselves and their set up to either other Companies, or other people.
A Company vs Company playlist also sounds like a great idea though.
It would be great, and some playlists for Spartan companies would be even better!

Everyone saying spartan company is just reminding me of something one of my lieutenants did, he made a chrome extension that makes it to where any time you see the word spartan it becomes Sangheili.
