Why is this a thing? If you post in any Halowaypoint forum it should add to your rank, no?
It’s designed intentionally to stop spam. If your rank increased in company forums, everyone could just easily spam their way to Spartan rank to obtain extra avatars and a signature (trust me when i say a lot of folk would do this). Company forums themselves are separate form the main Waypoint forums and are administered / moderated only by your own company staff, not the waypoint moderators.

If you want to rank up on the forums, you have to participate on the forums. Private SC forums are not the main boards.
It would be way too easy to spam nonsensical garbage in your SC forums to rank up.
