With the idea of Spartan Companies being introduced here in Halo 5, it seems the only way that this is being used is for the SC commendations to work towards getting the elite armors and such. Does anyone think that there should be Spartan Company Playlists where you can only join if you are playing with a full team all from your company? This would be a ranked playlist and instead of the individual being ranked, the company would be ranked. For example, you could have a Gold 2 rankings but if your company struggles in this playlist your company could be ranked Silver 4 or so.
This would take after League of Legends in a way with ranked teams. This would just give spartan companies more meaning than just a tag next to your name. Also, making companies accessible in game rather than just on this site would help things too.
I’d be open to seeing a specific “team of 12 only” playlist for warzone open up, as long as the normal warzone still allowed teams of 12. This new playlist would only serve the purpose of competitive companies looking to play other competitive companies to establish dominance. Allow join in progress at any point in the game and you won’t have to worry about players who disconnect causing a permanent disadvantage to their team for the whole game, since they could simply rejoin on their in-game friends.
That being said, it would HAVE to be like that in order to not split the population in a negative way.

This right here is borderline inexcusable. I agree that before we get a playlist we would need to have that info in-game but something tells me neither of these are going to happen which is a shame.

Especially since, they haven’t even made post-game match medals viewable!
I’d like to see a system implemented into the website where you can click on another Spartan companies profile and issue them a challenge. It could keep all the results and your companies win/loss record just like the regular stats profile does now. It could be a 4v4 challenge 8v8 or warzone… would be pretty sweet IMO.

There’s just so many possibilities that could be used with Spartan Companies but none of which are being utilized right now.

When Spartan Companies were first announced, I thought they were bringing back clan matches.
Boy was I disappointed to find out Spartan Companies are only on Waypoint.
What a waste of something that could have been so awesome… hopefully they add it “soon”
