Remember back in halo 2 how there was a clan battle playlist where two clans go head to head to compete for their clans competitive rank. I think it would be so awesome to bring that back with Spartan companies.
p.s. I know this will never happen I know this happening in Halo 5 is impossible. I’m just daydreaming and trying to have a conversation in a community I love .
We had something a tad bit similar, but clans started blocking each other, which wound up killing the playlist entirely.

I thought on Xbox one you can only block communication. Cause I blocked someone and still match up against them.

There was a point where you were less likely to match up with someone you blocked, though that has been changed. You could always simply challenge the ‘clan’ of your choice to a custom BTB match.

yeah but that’s alot hassle for a match to get everyone together compared to just getting your Spartan company team together and hitting a playlist button. Plus I like the idea of Spartan companies having a competitive rank it gives us something else to do with Spartan companies instead of commendations all day

It was eventually turned off though so people couldn’t block anyone except in Firefight. I kind of think full parties only being able to match other full parties is what mostly killed it. I wouldn’t mind if they did like H2 and made major and minor clan battles. That way smaller parties could also face other.

that would be awesome like a big team and 4v4 clan battle
I mean halo is becoming a point where solo players can’t play. It should have some mechanism to match clans more with clans or as in the thread suggested, have clan battles where they could have a choice
