So when I first made my Spartan Company there was another with the same name as mine, so I had to put an unnecessary space between the words fire and team, I recently checked and that company is either deleted or disbanded but it’s gone now. So I go to change my name and get rid of that space and it still says that the name isn’t available. I’m thinking that because it existed as a group in the past the system didn’t register that the name is available again. So 343 or admins if you have that kinda control could someone please fix this. Also my Spartan Company was formed on the 20th of the month it was created not the 16th, I had my phone date set back 4 days so I could get something in Pokémon go and I forgot to change it back before I made my team. So again if 343 or an admin could fix that if possible. I’d appreciate it so much for everything. It may be just small things wrong but I’d like to make my team the most accurate and well presented it can be and with these both it bugs me.
Fireteam Pyro still exists as a Company; though its not active, the name is still taken, and we don’t disband Companies just because they’re holding onto a name. Try contacting the Co. leader to see if they’d be willing to give up the name, since the company isn’t active.
As for your other query, I don’t think that’s doable. Establishment dates aren’t editable, so that data seems hardcoded into the Company. You could always set your clock to whatever date you want the establishment to be and then disband and remake the Company, since setting the clock back worked for you before.

I couldn’t find them untill you tagged it, I don’t think the company leader will reply seeing he’s been inactive for awhile now as far as I can tell but I’ll give it a shot. Another problem I have is that in the company motto and description he swears twice saying the s word a star like this * instead of the “i” and that could reflect poorly on my team for any of my halo waypoint, YouTube, Twitter, mixer and twitch followers. let alone breaking the rules of waypoint. I don’t really like the fact that my teams name is being used this way. So if any 343 or mod could change their company name or remove the company all together,

You can report Spartan Co. that break the rules and someone will investigate and handle appropriately.

The description and bio have been redacted so that makes me feel abit better, how long do you think it will take for the investigation and what do you think will happen to the company. Also I have one more question for you, the Co. leader and only member of the group hasn’t been on halo or waypoint sense 2017 and he’s only ever played 10 games ever. So what if he never sees my message about giving up the name because he’s inactive. What do I do then? My guess is he started playing the game, made a spartan company and then just stopped playing all together. But that kinda sucks for my team and I tho. Thank you for everything

We don’t discuss moderation of other users/companies with 3rd parties. All I can say is that inactivity does not warrant disbandment. If the user does not respond to you then that’s that; nothing can be done. Essentially the only way for you to get that Co. name is if they give it up; if they don’t, for whatever reason, then they don’t. We can’t force them to. Company names are very much on a “first come, first serve” basis, and that applies the same to everyone, regardless of when they decided to make a Co.

Ahh, well thanks anyways. I hope he just logs on one day and sees it but I feel like he’s never going to play halo 5 again
You can remove this form post if you’d like, I don’t need it now that I know I can’t really do anything
This was very helpful information. Thank you to all.
