So I know that WZFF ai kills don’t count towards the spartan company kill commendations but are there any other gamemodes that don’t count towards it?
(EDIT: Bosses do not count, but normal covenant and promethians count.)
As far as I am aware of, everything counts. Even the WZFF AI kills should count towards the AI kills commendations.

You are referring to the Spartan Company ones right?
I’ve just seen some companies post it in there rules that it does not count at all.
Yes the spartan company commendations should still be getting progress such as the “Kill Covenant Enemies” etc…
However once those are done Warzone Firefight does not contribute to any other spartan company commendations.

I’ll have to look at it more, the leaders always say it doesn’t contribute even when those commendations are still open.

they only say that because they don’t want you to play firefight. They will probably discharge you if you do.

As a member of a Company that had its Covenant, Boss and Forerunner commendations far from finished when Firefight came out, I can officially tell you that yes, they DO count towards getting the commendation complete.
They were some of the first ones we 5/5ed.
Some Companies dont much like Firefight though, no clue WHY

The companies saying they don’t count are probably the super hardcore ones that don’t want you to play FF as others on here have said.

Yes I’ve tested it and found out that it only doesn’t count boss kills yet my leader still insist that I don’t do it.
A company that’s not willing to utilise the best method for completing a certain set of commendations? Jeez… Id find a new company mate 
Or tbh, as long as you help in other playlists, they cant ban you from playing a but of ff with your friends

I’d find a new company personally. You don’t need to take that, but to each their own.
Yeah boss and ultra boss kills are specific to regular WZ, otherwise the regular AI kills work in FF. That’s how I’m gonna finish Warden.

Just play the game the way you want to play, I know some companies are very serious and strict, and I personally find that annoying, but just do what you want to do. I’d find a more chill spartan company unless you’re into those military like ones.
So that means I could just run over covenant with a ghost to level up the “lawnmower” and the “forgot to pay the toll” kill commendations?

I wish but I dont think it counts but destroying vehicles I think does count though I haven’t checked that either
