Spartan Company - Invited Members Can Not Join

So I sent out some invites for my Spartan Company, specifically to my younger brothers (who are extremely excited for the Halo 5 Launch as it will be their first Halo game, now that it’s not M Rated)

They can not join the Spartan Company however though, but other invited members can. Is it due to their ages being 12 & 11? Are there parental settings that can be adjusted to allow them to join? Is this a glitch that can be fixed? They want access to as many features and REQ packs as possible.

Thank you in advance for your help

Let me guess, do they get the error “Child cannot create Spartan company” and there isn’t any options to join? Really annoying. I don’t even have a child account

Not even that… There just is no option at all to accept and/or request invites… They don’t even have an inbox on their accounts…

I’m having similar issues, not hung to do with age settings.

same problem here

Same problem here but in 2016. Did you guys get this resolved? Any fixes you can recommend?

Thanks…

Same problem. No option to join. Is there a solution?

Please don’t revive old topics thanks.

To answer the question though: Spartan Companies are only open to those who have an adult Xbox Live account. Due to issues with privacy and data protection, Xbox Live Child accounts are not allowed to use the private message / inbox feature of Halo Waypoint. As an extension of that, it means that Spartan Companies are also off-limits and invitations and accepts/rejects are done vie private messages.

If you are at an age where you can promote your account to an adult account (18 in most countries), you can check on Xbox.com on how to have your account promoted and should be able to join a company after that: http://support.gtm.xbox.com/en-US/browse/xbox-one/security
