In the commendations FAQ (https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/spartan-companies/faq) it mentions that only Ranked Arena games and Warzone games count toward commendations. How does that work if at least one of the commendations require playing Griffball playlist which is not ranked? Obviously besides Warzone, BTB is the only other playlists with vehicles.
It just seems strange to me that with the sheer number of what is needed for commendations that they would not included other playlists.
It says that? Weird, because I assure you that Griffball counts toward company commendations. Our company plays a ton of it for first strikes and ground pounds.
It works I think that was made at launch and they haven’t really updated it

Yeah it counts in all arena game modes and warzone game modes
It doesn’t nessearily mean ranked matches, but it does help. I prefer Swat and Slayer.

Grifball is ranked, the rank is just hidden. I’ve seen people who have grifball listed as their top CSR in their service record.

Yep, before I got down to it and got a higher ranking in FFA, my highest ranking on Waypoint was BTB which is unranked.
Its everything but Customs. I’ve done tons of grinding in Warzone and BTB.
