The best part about Halo 5, for me personally, has been the creation of Spartan Companies. I love our company and the guys in it have kept Halo 5 alive and well for me for the past two years. We started off as a casual group, but have several of us who have remained around and continue to pursue commendations and other achievements together in the game. And we’re this close to Achilles… the helmet is only a few weeks away at most.
That said, I’d be very curious to know how well our company matches up to others within the community, and I think a lot of other people would be interested in that as well! The thing I’m most interested in knowing is how many companies, out of the thousands that are on Halo 5, have completed not only all of the collective Kill commendations for the game, but also have completed the assists and game mode commendations in the game. The trifecta. I would be willing to bet that on a percentage basis, there are VERY few companies who have achieved that feet, so it’d be awesome to know if we were one of X companies to do so.
I don’t believe there’s anyway to currently look this up (a comparison of companies vs. the field), but c’mon, that’d be so cool to be able to check. If anyone here knows of a way, fill me in please! Otherwise, hopefully we can find out from 343 somehow or in a later update stuff like that. You could see how many companies have members in the “Champion” status, for example. Or what a company’s collective win percentage is, again, vs. the field. Things like that.

It’s a bit of a crude method, but you can compare two companies by viewing them in two individual tabs for each one. Simply leap back and forth between the tabs to compare results.

Yeah, but that’s not really what I’m curious about - there’s 50,000 companies or so on Waypoint last I checked, and to do what I’m talking about would require leaping back and forth between our company and the other 49,000… wouldn’t really be feasible. It’d be cool just to have that stat available somewhere. Similar to how if you look at Achievements in XBL now, you see that you are one of X% of people to complete that achievement. It’d be fun to have that, but for Spartan Companies. Your company is one of X% who have achieved all of the game mode commendations, for example.

Only ONE company out of all the companies in Halo 5 have completed all the kill, assist, and game mode commendations and that’s Whiskey. They just finished it on April 1st too. They had everything done for a very long time except the stupid Infection victory commendation. That one held them up for months.

You’re the man! How did you know that? Was there some way you knew of checking, or just have been following them for a while somehow?

I’m friends with some of the original members. Back when the Achilles Armor set was 1st announced Whiskey was one of the top companies and got the armor and the helmet before anyone else. They were quite infamous at the time because they were VERY good and would farm people to death. At the time they were made up of some of the most popular streamers and youtube content makers. Once they got the helmet most of the original members splintered off to form their own companies. Most of what is left of Whiskey are not the same people that were there in the beginning.
Most of their best players now make up what is Dominated, which is in my opinion the best company in Halo 5 by a pretty significant margin. 54 of their 62 members are champions and most of those are top 10 champs in one playlist or another. They simply shred people. Tons of their players stream on twitch and have youtube channels. They’re worth checking out. They have some great strategies that are worth picking up.
