Apologies if this has been asked before, as I’m sure it has however I haven’t seen nor heard anything about it personally and had difficulty finding anything about by searching.
I’m curious if Spartan Companies will again be part of Halo: Infinite in the way that they were for Guardians? Our Company is hoping to remain together and move forward together upon the arrival of Infinite. We are also hoping there will be something similar to Guardians, in that, via ‘commendations’ or some other means, encourages Spartan Companies to work toward some sort of ultimate prize after completing tasks as a Company (much how Achilles Armor was the end goal of Spartan Companies for H:5).
Has anyone heard, read, or seen anything pertaining to this aspect of the franchise? Would love to know if anything has been mentioned about this. Thanks in advance to any helpful replies
Apologies to all who were bothered by bumping an older similar post. I had only found that post after I made this one, and the OP of the old thread had made some other points I hadn’t considered and thus was jumping into that particular thread to attempt to discuss their thoughts and ideas about the topic I’ve brought up herein. It felt as if there was enough of a difference between the threads beyond just simply reviving/continuing having companies, that warranted a deeper discussion. Sorry to rustle the jimmies today. I wasn’t intending for it to go the way it went.
So, in retrospect to the now locked older thread, I’d like to add in this thread some thoughts brought up in the thread I shouldn’t have bumped:
If in fact companies do carry over and continue within Infinite, would you like to see alternative, or more frequent rewards be obtainable within a Spartan Company? And if so, would you also support an ultimate end-goal for Companies should they in fact be a part of the new proposition of the game’s announced perpetuity and the expectancy of a consistently changing landscape?
