Spartan companies with less than 5* members should expire. There are so many unique company names that are currently in use by individual players, most of whom are inactive in Halo 5. It is not fair to those of us who actually want to create a full fledged spartan company.
A company is defined as a military unit consisting of 80–250 soldiers. At the very least you should have more than one member.
What do you guys think?
__*__EDIT:
It doesn’t have to be 5 members. At the very least 3. A 2 person club is called a friendship. This would mainly effect those who only use the spartan company system as a personal title (i.e. 1 person spartan companies).

It sounds like a good idea, but I think that there should be a time limit.
Just to give somebody who made a SC a chance to get some members.
Example:
If no new people join a SC a month after it was formed, it gets disbanded.

That’s the idea. They couldn’t just expire instantaneously. They should be given a reasonable amount of time to recruit (1 - 2 months). This would mainly affect those who only use the spartan company system as a personal title.
No, horrible idea. Most companies are small groups of friends that have no interest in joining big clans. Why would you want to take their name away from them just because there’s not many of them, that’s not cool.

If it’s one guy, sure. But 3-5, no. That would just be mean.

Maybe 343 could make another option for friend groups?
They’d be called “Spartan Squads” and would only be allowed to have four members.

Nah not a good idea. not every one can dedicate a lot of time gaming. I am in a small company and I maybe even the only active player. the only way I think it would be fair if say no members have been active for a year then maybe they could be disbanded.

That’s an interesting idea, although, it would probably just be easier to have a 2-3 member minimum for spartan companies.

Your company has 8 members. This wouldn’t effect you.

Yeah but I don’t check to see how active they are and I am speaking for others who maybe in smaller companies. to me as long as they have some what active members shouldn’t matter how big they are.

Yes! MemberS! With the plural “s”. They’d be fine. I’m mainly after those who have 1-man spartan companies.

Even if they have one member if they are active player they should be able to keep their “company” IMO

Even though it completely defeats the entire purpose of the feature and selfishly prevents others from using unique and interesting company names?
