I received a message 3-4 hours ago informing me that ALL updates for Spartan Companies will be removed this means no stat updates, no roster updates, and no chatting in Spartan Company forums.
Giving everyone a heads up
A few suggestions for new places to talk: Xbox app. It uses the same account as you do on Halo Waypoint.
Discord. Because why not? It’s the official chat for gamers.
Ther are others as well

For some reason Halowaypoint crashed yesterday. It didn’t work at all when I tried yesterday
It may be that supporting this is too much.
But I recommend discord. It has bots, you can set up different roles, and do much more than on waypoint

That gives me assurance something is happening. I have had few problems with waypoint over the months but nothing like this

I am very sad and disappointed that the Spartan Companies will no longer be in the Halo Waypoint website. At the same time, I am also very curious to see where things going forward in the Halo Waypoint website.

Also, you cannot add, remove, promote or demote members of your spartan company.
We really need to pressure 343 into bringing this back into halo infinite.

I wholeheartedly agree. Spartan Companies are a big staple in some Halo groups. Including ours. A lot of effort and sentiment had been put into some of these communities so it’s disappointing to see that Spartan Companies aren’t coming back.

I don’t mean to be hijacking, but we do have a thread of people asking for them to not cancel Companies.
I appreciate the OP here going with a different route in giving us all suggestions for how to continue our groups via Discord.

Yeah, it’s crushing. I’m really sad right now, I don’t even want to think about it.
To anyone still in this they are probably getting rid of spartan companies when they over haul waypoint it’s been in beta for awhile some people (myself included) were able to use this “new” waypoint during the infinite flight. It is why they have changed halo channel app to halo waypoint I belive its launching on the web client in November

Waypoint isn’t really “shutting down” it’s just being updated to a new version of the website.
Forums are being moved elsewhere & Spartan Companies won’t be making the transition to the new site.
