Maybe she commentates the carnage report, promotions, and stuff like that. Then it would make sense to give info on her, since we’d hear and maybe see her regularly.
Lore wise, saying Palmer got promoted would be my guess. It would make her haters happy she’s gone and her fans happy she had something good happen to her.
