Spartan Classes

what if we had Spartan classes that grant you specific Reqs and armor as you level up.

Interesting but it would be hard to balance, it creates a new way to report a person, and limits a person’s customization options.

You mean like we had in H4? The specializations or whatever the were called.

Wouldn’t mind as long as it stuck to customs/WZ/social

Not really sure what you mean. Say more

I wouldn’t mind Spartan classes like in Reach, just as long as Armor lock stays out of the picture AND Jet packs make a comeback(I like jet packs, though most players don’t from what I’ve seen).

Yeah, that’d be great for Warzone. I reckon that most people have preferred loadouts that they stick to in most games of Warzone. Let’s make one as an example:

  • Sentinel Battle Rifle w/ Stabilizer Jets - Projection SMG with Kinetic Bolts - Advanaced SensorsIf we had a custom loadout system we could make it so that players could pick loadouts like this and get back into the battle faster, as opposed to going through all of the options and slowly picking your weapons one at a time. We could also have a favorites tab for our go-to power weapons and vehicles to speed that up as well.

I want a Spartan who duel wields Sentinel Beams

Frankly given how popular the hero/operator/specialist setup is in shooters right now I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if you saw something similar in Halo 6.

Like Destiny has for classes (Tank, Archer, Wizzard) and Call of Duty IW has… only in Halo 6… why? Because Halo already mimics other games so if we aren’t getting halo games that revolutionize or up the bar than why not mimic by having classes?

plus anyway the game already has tons of lore behind the Armor so it wouldn’t be that big of a stretch to try and separate these armors based up lore or squad set up.

I’m not quite as elegant but exactly what I’m thinking. Also resource accumulation seems to be a thing, idk how they’ll incorporate it into Halo… maybe successfully pulling off a RTS FPS crossover?

Maybe making the game in such a way where you can harvest materials to build stuff? Idk… there was a bunch of canceled games that were attempting a Third person FPS crossover.

i was thinking a large range of character classes would be cool some thing like Overwatch. With varying loadouts, abilities, and equipment.

Maybe a system like Halo 4, where every 10 levels you unlock a new specialization and as you level up with the said specialization active you unlock items like helmets and skins that are exclusive to the specialization.
