How do you feel about the spartan charge? I’ve heard complaints about the bounce back, that it is too hard to lock on, that it just simply doesn’t work, buttt I have found that the spartan charge is a great way to both get kills and assists. What are your guys thoughts?
spartan charge isnt a broken mechanic thats for sure. thats not the answer for every situation. i think the spartan charge Is well balanced and fun ability
I personally love the spartan charge, in situations when you flank an enemy it is nice to have some type of lock-on beat down that doesn’t require the sword lol.

Im with you on that!
As stated above, the SC is super useful but is most certainly not a “free kills” move. You have to be careful when using it since experienced players can hear you charging them from behind (or have good timing when you are in front) and thrust out of the way. That will almost certainly lead to your death since the recovery from the charge is pretty long.

I Agree with you definitely not a “free kill” move, but with a good team the recovery usually isn’t to bad an issue. Unless the opposing team is just beastly with grenades, i can’t count how many times i’ve gone in for a spartan charge and had to eat a plasma or splinter grenade lol.

Its kind of armor lock all over again… Its a noobfriendly tool for noobs who dont have the balls to melee on close range or who don’t have the skills to do so.
All the other Spartan Abilities are cool and just fine.
I hate it in breakout.

Yeah.
with the short range of the radar, and the fact that its ready to go within like 2 seconds of sprinting I think its a little OP. It should take at little longer to be ready, and the radar should be extended. By the time they show up on the radar your getting wrecked already.

this. worst addition to the gameplay. ground pound is pretty cool because it takes risk and feels good if it pays of. spartan charge is just easy -Yoink-.
My only problem with it is that you can’t ninja behind it. If you try to jump they will still hit you, even if they are at ground level, which is not ok. Otherwise it’s somewhat balanced.

Agree, just wish the hit box was slimmed down a tiny bit on it. I’ve gotten killed by it when I was clearly not anywhere close to where they charged.

I always find it illuminating to go check out service records after people make comments like this. Poster’s got over a hundred Spartan Charge kills

Yeah you have to thrust side and up in my experience. You’ll get a kill pretty much every time if you manage this
I enjoy it for that really awkward moment when you miss, and you have to try and play off the fact that you just Risky Businessed into the middle of a firefight.
I have no problem with the Spartan Charge other an the fact that I forget to use it as much as should. And I miss more often than I land a hit.

Hahaha noob friendly? I can rarely find anyone who can use it properly let alone a noob lol. And why is my service record illuminating? Why would i ask if i didnt have over 100 spartan charges? Lol i love the spartan charge and have yet to find many people who can execute and if anyone is accusing me of being a noob…lol lets go 1v1 hit me up!
I like it in some ways but I dislike how people can now sprint round corners especially in game modes like swat and get kills sometimes.
I like it. It will not kill a full health spartan, unless it’s on the back. It’s easy enough to dodge, if you catch it. You just got to know when and where to use it.
