Is it me, or is it incredibly jarring to get spartan charged?
That vibration on your controller and how quick it is, like with melee it doesn’t feel that way at all, so I don’t know. Just seems really jarring to me as it just interrupts otherwise smooth gameplay
I think being tackled by a titanium-clad supersoldier would certainly shake you up really good. I think the same can apply to being struck with a Ground Pound, but I’m unsure since I disabled controller vibration for a long time.

Spartan charge is one of the worst things added to halo. It promotes nooby gameplay and it’s annoying as hell. Plus it looks retarded. Master chief would never thrust into you with his shoulder he would just beat you to death.
When someone say “It’s awesome” or ^^ “One of the best additions to the game”, I just here & wonder how do some people don’t realize how broken it is, can’t dodge it when it’s lock on is crazy, you got no chance you get S-charged, & Nooby as Broken said above, honestly among the worst introduced abilities for Halo
Did you know?
The Spartan charge was an ability taken from Destiny’s Execution ability for the Titan
Yes, I love how my opponent is rewarded with dealing 80% of my health before I can even blink, for running straight at me without even firing their gun. That doesn’t reek of awful design, no…
Yunno what, that’s not fair… I’m ratting on spartan charge, but I’m really mad at melee lunge for making it so powerful in the first place. Sometimes I hate Halo 2 for adding this to the series, I really do.
I’m not a big of fan of Spartan charge. It can be fun to use, but it is annoying to get struck by. I hardly use it, because it just doesn’t suit my playstyle. I really only sprint on objective gametypes when I’m trying to get somewhere for the objective.
Spartan charge is avoidale and yes is an instant kill from behind…just like a beat down or assassination. Not a kill with full shields on hit from the front. So defiantly not overpowered and also for people who watch the mini map you can see it coming. So again for me it’s one of the best additions to the game…love it

I don’t see anything wrong with it. Someone can run around with a shotgun, hammer or sword and do way more damage. The only time you get hit with it is if your not paying attention to your surroundings.
As long as the sprint mechanic is in Halo, Spartan charge or a form of it needs to be in it I feel (I’m fine with removing the sprint mechanic from future Halo games, hence removing Spartan charge too) I don’t want to relive Reach, with the whole people run in and hit, hit, dead! Super dumb, super annoying.
I think that Spartan charge in it’s current form needs some tweaks though. Myself and many others have gone to lengths in other threads about how to do this so unless this gets into a real big discussion I’m not going to bother with that right now but Spartan charge definitely has it’s flaws that’s for sure.

Except Spartan Charge has unlimited uses and not on a spawn timer unlike your weapon examples. Your second part is wrong because you can see it coming, but if you don’t dodge it early enough you’ll still get hit due to it turning into you.
I won’t even address the other thread’s opinions. Oof

I also find it so easy to dodge I don’t get why people complain about it if it leaves your enemy vulnerable for an easy kill

I’m pretty sure you can turn of vibrations and you have the trustee pack so what’s the big deal and not to mention the thurster pack recharges fairly quick
