Spartan Charge is Cancer

Seriously, I cannot express how frustrated I am at the ‘new’ Spartan Charge in H5!
In other halo’s, when you came up against an opponent, like 1v1, it was a battle of both skill and map control (and other skill related factors) not whoever is sprinting and spartan charging. Heres some reasons…
(1) If somebody sprints up and spartan charges you, you cannot melee them back as in other halos as it is very very difficult to time. You usually end up hitting the air and you are left with no shields and the opponent has full shields and just needs to one-shot you.
(2) Also, bc of the incredibly stupid Radar with a short radius it takes the opponent like 1 second to come up and hit you in the back… So unless you play on freaken 10 sensitivity, you don’t have enough time to turn around.
(3) Furthermore, it has completely ruined the ninja community. When you do the ninja where the opponent is behind you and you jump and thruster over his head (Im not sure what the name is sry) You can’t. Bc the radius of the spartan charge makes it so difficult to jump over his head bc it impacts you even if you do jump. Thanks 343.
Its one of the most noob-est things people do in H5, its already a noob friendly game don’t make it even easier! -Yoink-
#RemoveSpartanCharge

One of the worst decisions they made with this game IMO

Spartan charge, ground pound, clamber… Add it to the list of terrible additions by 343

I don’t think it’s that annoying. It’s not that hard to dodge especially with thrusters.

Melee Lunge is bad.

Spartan Charge is just even further empowering a problem that has plagued Halo since 2004.

> completely ruined the ninja community

There’s a ‘community’ for anything these days…

Yeah I have to agree, although I have the most issues with Spartan Charge

It’s here to stay, and honestly the set of Spartan Abilities is far better than the Call of Halo loadouts with Armor Abilities. It puts everyone on an even footing and finally turns Spartans into hyper lethal warriors instead of the slow walking tanks from older Halo games.

Two choices, either get used to them or go back to the MCC, but when I went back to it for comparison the old games seemed ridiculously slow by comparison.

As for skill, when I use my thrusters to evade your grenade and turn the tables on you for a reversal, that’s skill. Then I SC you from behind because I took out your backup and you’re next!

I agree that it puts people in an even playing ground, but 343 didn’t need to add spartan charge, I was fine with just melee so was everybody else who play all the other halos

Trust me if mcc worked I would play it

What playlist works in MCC? I tried for over an hour the other day.

Yeah, don´t like it either. Not gonna lie though, I´ve used it everytime I could get an advantage out of it but I can see how annoying it is.

The worst part about it for me is probably in Breakout. Cause don´t you dare grab that BR, DMR, Shotgun, extra frags, Hydra, etc, it was someone´s possession so they´ll kill you for it with a nice charge from behind.
lel halo community amirite _(ツ)_/

The fact that it’s overused doesn’t necessarily make it bad (it’s just a useful feature), and the fact that everyone has it available means it certainly is balanced. It also plays off really well with the Thrusters in that you can dodge another’s Charge with a Thrust. I think it’s a neat feature, adds a lot to the Spartan-y feel.

How the hell is it useful lmao

I’ve said it before, but:

> Everyone spawns with Rockets in Team Rockets. That’s “balanced” in the strictest sense of the word, but it’s not deep or interesting game design.

It’s extremely useful for bad players who blindly sprint everywhere.

Dude LMFAO, the funniest thing Ive heard all day LOL. Thanks m8

There are few things more satisfying than running up to someone who is trying to hide and sending them to kingdom come. Spartan charge is a perfect counterbalance to crouch-ambushing.

Ill be honest its pretty fun to do it on campers, but still hitting them on the back is just as satisfying, besides there are many different ways to kill a camper and be pleased (sticking them for example) theres no need for spartan charge

I think there should be a build up with it like how a laser and rail gun work. They could perhaps increase the lethality of it but it’d require more timing to do it.
