Now, spartan charge can be fun at times to use. But, in my opinion its a cheap ability. Sometimes, it feels like the charge goes way too far when behind an enemy and why does the charge follow the enemy in the air. Also, there have been many instances where someone spartan charges me from the front, I melee them just as they hit me and I aim for their head and I’m dead. On my screen, the enemy is Still in the animation after hitting me and then all of a sudden I’m dead.
If you don’t think those reasons make spartan charge cheap, just compare it to the other abilities. Ground Pound used to be the cheapest thing in the game (well, the beta), but now it feels balanced. You actually land on them in order to get the kill. With spartan charge, you can just let the aim assist with the charge do all the work.
Let me know If you think Spartan Charge is cheap or not.
It’s not cheap. just thursterpack diagonally. It works 70% of the time. The other 30% is if you thruster into them accidentally. Why are so many people complaing about it, it’s not like you get killed by it multiple times per game. Heck, i’ve never died from it more than once every 3-4 games.
I hate it! I agree with you, but people are so dependant on defending it let me propose something… Have the base melee reset back to its old form. Don’t allow people to fly 2 meters forward and everything will balance out. (this does not include when countering Spartan charge( cause I understand why you NEED to fly forward there))
I use it all the time, every body I send flying from charging into them reminds me what a terrible person I am.
Then I -Yoink!- them and laugh because I am 100% aware of how cheap it was.
I get reported often

we must get in different lobbies because almost every game, there is someone spartan charging me from across the map

Really? Across the map? must be an exaggeration lol
There’s tons of noobs running around doing that in breakout. Pisses me off. If I wanted to get killed by an OP commando lunge, I’d hop the -Yoink- on MW2.
I hate it so much, worst ability ever. It should have a 2 minute cool-down or something,
I vote for it to be completely removed

Not cheap at all.
You are playing as a Spartan, why wouldn’t you be able to shoulder-check someone?
I personally like that 343 has made the Spartans more mobile (yes, I even like Sprint), which to me feels more in line with how a Spartan should move.
