Sorry it’s been a long time since I played like a couple of years. But I feel like there was an auto aim of some sort in this game. Definitely in the spartan Charge. Was that taken away?
Spartan charge has an “auto-aim” of sorts. The reticle is very wide. Once it becomes red, you can hit your melee button and your Spartan will charge into the enemy. But, your Spartan will also follow your enemy if he/she decides to jump or strafe in a certain direction right as you initiate the charge.
Yes, it has a bit of magnetism which can curve you towards an opponent. In the beta, I don’t believe it had any and was changed when the retail game came out.
Ok thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I’m just trying to find out how to move better if that makes sense. I use to play at sensitivity 5 or 6. But now I’m moving my crosshair all over the place so I put it at three. I still missing charges that I thought would zoom to the enemy player. I guess I’m going to have to figure this out the hard way

Not sure if you have tried it yet, but mess around with the acceleration settings too. Start it off at 1 (can’t go down to 0) and see how that feels.
It has a lot of attraction to enemy players if you’re within a certain distance, nearly a guaranteed hit even if they try to boost out of the way.
You think in warzone spartan charge was useful, but in reality it’s not that great even with that tracking.

Of course it isn’t that useful in Warzone, where there’s a ton of space and 12 people and the enemy AI can see you coming from a mile way. Need more situational awareness there. In Arena, though, it’s quite effective, especially on maps with tight quarters (Overgrowth, for example).
