I know many people who get so frustrated with spartan charges because they are so powerful and easy to do and hit. Simply sprint, melee, one shot to the head easy as that. I think it is the only single thing that is killing multiplayer at the moment.
So here’s the suggestion (this is default controls)
While sprinting:
Change spartan charge away from an automatic action when you “RB” melee.
Instead, make your “B” (which is a directional burst) be the set up for spartan charge then use “RB” for it to hit.
This means its slightly more complicated and slightly more harder to hit which creates this balance.
Spartan charge is good for the game, but it needs to be more balanced like ground pound where it actually takes more skill to hit.
Im not a fan of the spartan charge in pvp as soon as you get hit you have no chance inless your lucky to kill that spartan alot of the time they blind side you. Should have a cool down a big one for arena.
I find it easy to counter peoples shoulder charge but i agree it needs a rebalance
I like that idea. Too often do people jusg instagib you because they get one lucky shot in with a shoulder charge. But you have to admit that when you do it to someone else its so much fun (imo)
What its not OP…it is not always a one shot one kill move…ive had many people survive and kill me after getting hit
Eh, its pretty easy to dodge a spartan charge (if you know it’s coming). People who want to SC you are fairly easy to spot so all you need to do is use your thrusters at the last moment to dodge the charge. After that it should be a simple matter of mopping them up before they can recover.
I don’t think its OP at all. I’ve noticed that right after I charge somebody, they immediately melee me back while I’m finishing the animation and headshot me before I pull out my gun.
