I like hearing the spartan call outs in halo 5 from your team mates. It adds a little more realism and makes you more aware of your environment. But I hate that you can’t hear your own spartan do call outs instead you hear a few grunts, panting when you sprint, and a scream depending on how you die. And I don’t like that, I want to be able to hear my own spartan speaking to my team. I really wanna know if 343 could let you when they drop the January update, it wouldn’t require that much work they just have to make the audio project from your end. It would also make the game slightly more enjoyable for me.

yea i guess it also doesnt make sense why you wouldnt already be able to hear yourself yelling something, since it seems they wanted to make this game slightly more realistuc

That’s exactly my point, if your already yelling at people why the hell can you not hear it
Here is a simple answer to your request: Wanting to hear your spartan tell when someone has a power weapon and you don’t see them defeats the purpose of the game.
A call-out informs your team of what is going on. By enabling the player to hear their own call-outs, it will give hints to player that they otherwise would have missed. This would lead the game to be a bit more forgiving on the player.
For example, a sniper sees you and shoots at you but misses. You do not notice this…Your player will call-out to your teammates that there is a sniper at a certain location. If you did not notice a sniper shoot at you and he kills you afterwards, that’s your own fault. Being able to hear your own call-out would simply give away the enemy sniper’s position without you even knowing where they were. This would make it too easy. If you failed to spot a sniper, you deserve to die. It comes down to the basic principles of a shooter game.
I also want to point out that the reason why everyone’s Xbox comes with a headset, is to encourage communication. The fact that call-outs already exists is a very generous gift from 343. An effective team communicates on their own without the need of automated call-outs and the effective team is rewarded the win. Wear your mic and communicate with your team. Put the volume up so you can hear your team communicate with you. no one has mics? Find a team that does. You can get a win every now and then without communication, sure that’s true. but if you want consistent wins, find/make a team and communicate. The W’s will start flowing in after that.

Honestly when you get a solid team, it’s a ton of fun. Even if you jump into warzone with one or two people. Coordinating a vehicle run or armory attack or boss attack with one or two people is always loads of fun.

Could be possible to do macros. Would be a bit tough since each person’s metabolism, overall health, and lifestyle all play a vital role in how much energy we actually burn and how much of each macronutrient we should be eating. So creating a general algorithm for macro calculation would be tough =/
