Spartan-B312

I thought there were only 300 in Beta Company…How does Noble Six exist?

There were exactly 300 before Operation TORPEDO, Noble Six and Kat and other Spartans were taken out before that Operation and left 300.

No thats the thing. There were 300 before O.T. so Noble Six got out before then. But his number is 312.

312>300.

… (Seriously people, do you have problems understanding?)
I said that in the begining they were more than 300, but they were cut to 300 just before Operation TORPEDO. In a transmision put in Halo Reach’s page at Bungie.net you can read that there were Spartans who were taken out before TORPEDO.

EDIT: Here you are, they were exactly 312 Spartans. 12 were taken out. 312-12=300.

Really now?

Your post says otherwise.

I was talking about there were 300 just before the operation.

Another puzzling thing about the Noble Team IIIs is that they are older than the others.

They would have been 11ish at the time of augmentation, not 6.

Hold on. So there were exactly 312? Then explain Kat. Spartan B320

Hey guys, let’s get a bit more civil.

Spartan tags don’t correlate to the actual number of Spartans in a program. Therefore we have all kinds of strange Spartan tags.

Really? I’ve always thought they did correlate. Sorry if I seem to be doubting you but is there a source that confirms what you are saying?

john 117 when there were 75 spartan 2’s from the beginning. proof number doesn’t relate to amount of people in program.

It seems that everybody always forgets about Cryo sleep >_> Anyways, Cryo plays merry-hob with people’s ages a ton in Halo, like for instance Johnson is physically between his 50s and 60s yet his actual age is something closer to his late 80s. Or take Master Chief and the other Spartan IIs, they’re all closer to their 40s chronologically, but their biological age is still around their 20s.

So just because Noble Team has ages that exceed the other SIIIs of their companies it does not mean that those are their actual biological ages.

I mean their actual age.

They were NOT 6 when they were under augmentation.

300 are chosen from a pool of over 400 candidates. The tags are given before the final selection process. This is how there were only 75 Spartan IIs but you have Spartan-117.

Thanks for the clarification Toa Freak. I had forgotten the pool size for the SPARTAN-IIIs hehe.

On the topic of SPARTAN-IIIs, I thought most started their training during their early teen/adolescant years. Is that correct?

If memory serves, Spartan-III recruitment restrictions were looser than the S-II ones, so ages could have varied a bit. I don’t think it was that far, though.

The Spartan III’s started their training at the age of six. They underwent the AUGMENTATIONS in the early teen/adolescent years
