recently i bought spartan assualt on steam however every time i try and play i get a n error when the game starts saying “no input methods detected please connect an input method to continue” i dont know what this means as my keyboard and mouse were both connected and working fine

I am having a similar problem to this. I have keyboard and mouse input connected and it shows highlighted but I can’t select anything. I have not been able to get past the input method select screen. I am also running the game through Steam on a windows 8.1 laptop
