Spartan Assault problems with Windows 8

Hello,

I just bought a new HP laptop with windows 8. I am aware there are problems with some tablets and computers with this game, so I would like to add to the list. There is extremely low frames per second so as to be unplayable. The application itself will initially run and allow me to sign in, but the lag becomes to bad its not worth trying more than a minute of the game. My specs are below. If more information is needed, please reply.

Also,(may or may not be relevant) I was having trouble with playing League of Legends which was almost the same exact issue(1-2 fps). I ran it in compatability mode for windows 7 and it ran perfectly. This game was specifically made for windows 8 and could not find a way to open it outside of the app store. If I could find it in the C: drive I could try that, but it doesn’t look possible.

Any suggestions or feedback from anyone?

Hi, Mechwarrior234. Apologies for the delayed response. I’ve passed your specifics along to the Spartan Assault team and will provide an update when we have some insight into the situation.

Quick question, Mechwarrior234: do you have the latest Windows 8 graphics driver?

I did it manually from the device manager before I posted. I went through and downloaded the new amd software and drivers. I noticed as I was looking at the game through task manager and it is described as running 32-bit. However, my system is 64-bit. I can’t actually get to where the app is installed to move it to program files (x86).

Hope this helps.
