Today, I played Spartan Assault on Windows 8 PC for the first time after the Operation F Update. Between the update and playing it, I played Spartan Assault on Xbox 360. I completed all of Operation F including Gold Stars and Challenges on Xbox 360. When I went to play the PC version, I found that I already had gold stars and completed challenges and that I was unable to unlock any of the Operation F achievements except for Tour of Duty which unlocked after the first mission I completed. Also the Challenge glitch that I experienced from the Xbox 360:

has now carried over to the PC version. I am not sure if these are connected, but any help would be appreciated.
Looking at your Windows 8 achievements, it looks like Tour of Duty is not unlocked. It should have unlocked upon playing a mission, as you said it did. Does it show up as unlocked in the in-game achievement list? If so, I’m not sure how to trigger it again so that it shows up on xbox.com.
Completing a Weekly Challenge should unlock A for Effort for you. Completing Mission F-5 should unlock Complete Operation F aka Archeology. You’ll have to repeat the in-mission actions for the other 2 achievements. I’ve made a list, detailing how to unlock achievements, assuming you’ve already completed another version.
As you say, the counters for the A-1 Assault Ops can still glitch. Here’s the semi-official thread about this Counter Glitch. I encourage you to post your experience there.
Edit: This thread discusses the Windows 8 SA servers being down. I seem to be able to login with no problem. But perhaps this has something to do with your Tour of Duty not showing up on xbox.com. Just a wild guess from me though.
Thank you so much! I just finished unlocking all the achievements thanks to your instructions. I also realized that xbox.com did not update the first achievement but after logging in today and completing the rest, it showed as unlocked. Thanks again.
