I know there’s a billion threads on how the app crashes on launch for PCs but for a $7 dollar app I was expecting more testing to eliminate this issue. Please fix.
This happened to me out of no where, my firewall was blocking the game.
Is it the firewall that’s blocking the game?
EDIT: I just checked my firewall, the game is clear, but it keeps crashing on launch.
Mine is doing this and it’s frustrating…let me play!! I’ve included the crash report from the game.

My app crash when I launch it , i want to playyyyy
Yeah, me too. Repair the game!
Having the exact same issue. Game get installed, crashes as soon as it’s launched
Using the following:
Intel i7 930
2x GTX 680’s
8 gigs of Ram
Latest Nvidia Drivers
BitDefender
I’ve tried resetting my PC multiple times, downloading and re-installing the game, switching SLI off, ect.
Please fix, and next time please test the game before it’s launched…
Yup. Present on mine as well.
Pretty aggravating. I figured waiting to buy it the day after it released would flesh out all the problems.
Thank you for your patience–we are currently investigating what is causing this issue and will keep everyone updated as we make progress on the resolution.
i think what is the problem that the app is crashing because it a 32 bit game and it won’t load on 64 bit computer. on my pc it is the igdumd32.dll and i have the igdumd64.dll version
If anyone else could provide their dxdiag information, it would help us with our investigation.
How to find this:
Run “CMD” On windows 8, you can easily do this by pressing the Windows key to bring up the dashboard, then type “Run”.
Once that opens, you can type “CMD” into the dialogue box. Press the enter button on your keyboard.
This will bring up the system command. Type “DxDiag” Press enter again.
Click “Save All Information”. Save the file.
Open the file, copy the information, share it here.
My file ended up being over 1,000 lines long and would take up several posts, so I uploaded the .txt to my server:
http://prime.chozosanctuary.com/DxDiag.txt
I realize Windows 8.1 is technically still in preview stages and thus would not be fully supported, but I had identical issues with some apps on this PC when I was still running Windows 8 (those same apps still have the same issues in 8.1), so it doesn’t seem to be related to 8.1. Either way I figure more data couldn’t hurt.
We created a central thread to track this issue. Please post the requested information there so we can help you troubleshoot and hopefully resolve this behavior. Thanks!
