Spartan Assault 360 discount not available

Edit: The issue has now been resolved. The $4.99 offer appeared and I was able to purchase at that price. Thank you.

I have followed the directions exactly, but I only see the $14.99 price for H:SA 360. I purchased the Win 8 and WP8 versions last summer. I did get the discount for the Xbox One version.

The directions don’t exactly match what I see on the Dashboard. I do see the Key Art on the Home channel. When I selecting it, I get a choice between “Free Trial” and “Get Spartan Assault.” The directions make it sound like I should be taken directly to a discount page.

If I select Free Trial, I am told

> Xbox Stores. Sorry, there’s a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later. For help with this problem, go to www.xbox.com/errorhelp. Status code: 8C020007

If I select “Get Spartan Assault” I am taken to the standard purchase page, with the $14.99 price. I’ve clicked on the price, hoping it would become $4.99 before the final purchase, but it stays $14.99.

The Key Art does not appear on the Games Arcade channel, so I cannot follow the 3rd set of directions.

Edit: The 8C020007 error means I need to change my GamerTag. That is an odd error to get in this situation.

Edit 2: I live in the US. The directions note that the discount is not yet available outside the US.

I have the same exact situation as well. I got it on Xbox One at the discounted price. When I check the 360 I get the same error from trial and when I hit purchase it is still full price.

I should have also noted that I live in the US, since the directions say, “We are experiencing a delay in delivering the upgrade promotion to those who are eligible outside the US.”

I’m in the US as well. So you aren’t the only person with the same problem.

I live in the U.S. I’m having the same exact issue described as MathGuy. I would also like to note I have purchased the phone and windows 8 version before December 15.

I had the same problem so I clicked on download the free trial from the actual game screen under get spartan assault and I will play that hoping they fix real soon

From the UK, noticed the discount didn’t exist either. It does seem to be a problem for most people.

I’m having the same issue as well, I live in the U.S. and purchased the Windows phone version back in July(?), still shows up at $14.99. Same issue here. I live in the US, have been playing Spartan Assault since August, and no discount via the home page on my 360. 343i, get it together guys. I love Halo to death and I hope you do too. I have faith.

I am having the exact same issue as the OP. I too live in the USA and bought Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows 8 last summer.

The issue just resolved for me. I was able to purchase the full game for $4.99

Well for me as Austrian its nice to see that the US-Americans at least also do not get the discount yet. :smiley:

Yes, it works on the main page, the Home page box reads “Exclusive Offer: Halo Spartan Assault Only $4.99”

Now I’ve just got issues with it freezing while trying to connect (after pressing Start.) I might try re-downloading it to fix that. But, it was purchased for $4.99.

Its working now!! I can confirm it is working. I just signed out and signed back in and I was able to see the discounted price
