I know sounds weird but why haven’t the UNSC create super animals like a spartan cat or even a spartan Moa?

How would you even make a Spartan Moa ?
How would you tell it what you want done ?
How would you arm it seeing as they are animals that die pretty quickly ?

well, i guess the UNSC thinks that an intelligent and free-thinking human, whom can also hold a gun, is more effective than a Huge Flightless bird that likes to screech at random things 
plus, once the Marines get hungry, where will they get their Moa burgers from? you can’t exactly kill a Spartan for food, animal or not.

You can strap a big turret on the back of the spartan moa plus also with thrusters the moa can fly. There will always be moa to eat heck you could even ride the super moa as ultra fast speeds
