So I was watching the Spartan Ops Reveal at Gametrailers and I noticed the size difference b/w Spartans and Elites. It’s pretty big in my opinion, though it could just be the camera angle.

That picture proves SIVs wont feel as super soldier-like as SIIs. I think SIVs will have around the same feel as SIII’s, maybe less, its been a while since I’ve played Reach, but I think the kill times have been shortened to.

That’s what I was thinking as well, I mean the “Lightweight Mjolnir Variant” doesn’t exactly scream super soldier. However, I think it was a good decision 343 made to keep them at their glorious Reach size rather than downsizing them again.
it explains in the books that elites especially are much larger than the spartan’s even with their physical augmentations, so this is fitting to me

Halo Reach spartans are taller. SIII’s head go up to the elites shoulder.
SIV’s head is barely above the waist.

Oh wow, well at least 343 has a good excuse for taking Elites out of multiplayer…
Is that a female or male Spartan?
Nonetheless, I love how tall the Elites are. Still, as long as our jump height allows us to go over them, I don’t mind.
That makes them look quite pathetic actually. So much for Spartans then I guess.
In fact they actually look smaller than the normal Human average. Elites are between 7 and 8 feet tall, and that Spartan looks at least a metre shorter.
