ok just a quick question about the armour abilities in the halo 5 beta we got to use them all at once now what i was thinking in the actual game will there be loadouts with one armour abiity or are we just gonna get them all at once again.
There might be load-outs in custom games. Which i’m also hoping for armour abilities to return in.
It’s been confirmed for some time now that all of the Spartan Abilities are at every player’s disposal 100% of the time, the same as the beta. It’s an effort to give more flexibility and add another dimension to the gameplay, all while keeping that balanced gameplay that people love about Halo. If they turned them into Armor Abilities, they would just be giving us the same thing as Halo 4 which would not be good enough for many people.
As far as Arena multiplayer goes, loadouts are non-existent. There are rumors of larger scale game modes (like a smaller version of Battlefield, for reference), and if these modes do in fact exist, loadouts could possibly be featured in them. In my opinion, this seems like the best way to go for Halo 5 multiplayer. It gives the more competitive players their small balanced arena modes, and the more casual players get large-scale warfare with some elements of customization.
