This is a basic suggestion. I don’t know if this is in the right area, but if it isn’t somebody please correct me. This is primarily about catering to the community with their complaints or preferences with Spartan Abilities.
Obviously, people don’t like the new features, so, let’s make something that benefits all. Firstly, in all playlists, (Except for Infection/Flood, Action Sack or Grifball for example, of course if modes such as those are added.) there will be an option to play a version of that playlist called Classic Mode. It plays without the Thruster Pack, Ground Pound, Clambering, Sliding, Charge, Unlimited Sprint, and Smart Scope. It also disables Spartan Chatter. It uses Limited Sprint. There will also be another version of the playlist, without Sprint at all.
Now, off to the main suggestion. In the Custom Games options, new features should be added. In the General Settings firstly, Spartan Chatter can be disabled. There will be new options for traits and Trait Zones also. The first new one is the option to enable or disable the ability to regenerate health while sprinting, and it is found in the Health and Damage area. The next, are actually all in the Movement area. These are also all separate options, so you can completely customize it to your needs. You can enable or disable the Thruster Pack, the Ground Pound, Clambering, Sliding, and the Charge. Smart Scope is set to two options. The most used in my opinion could be Classic. With Classic enabled, weapons without a scope or sight cannot aim, and use the classic magnification when trying to zoom, and it zooms right out when shooting, like in previous games. The Default one is just Default, using Smart Scope. Sprinting also has three options. Unlimited (Default), Limited, or None.
This suggestion is pretty simple, and it benefits the players who prefer old play style, and players who like Custom Games. I hope that you all like the suggestion. If this is in the wrong area, I ask a Monitor or Administrator to please move this to the appropriate area, of course if that’s a possibility.
