As far as I know Spartan Abilities have not been confirmed for the campaign (maybe because nobody has asked the question yet?). It is quite reasonable that they will appear since they are supposed to be implemented as standard movement options in multiplayer. The campaign and the multiplayer would feel drastically different from eachother if the player were to be denied the abilities in one of the two modes. It would be strange if the gameplay experience would be divided into two very different styles.
More importantly, if Spartan Abilities are available in the campaign, how will that affect the gameplay/ map layout. The Covenant forces have been pretty consistent in the way they work and how the player is supposed to engage them throughout the game series. How will that be different this time around when the player is given a whole new set of skills? How effective will the ground pound be against per say a group of grunts and and will you be able to slide past an elite for a quick assassination? What will 343 do to prevent players from running through the levels with infinite sprint?
There are a lot of questions here so join the discussion.
