Spartan 4s

So i have been reading the Halo books lately. Upon reading them i thought about Halo 4s spartans. I thought the spartans weren’t allowed to be created anymore. So can anyone explain to me how there would be spartan 4s?

No more potentially life altering augments.

No more kidnapping children.

Only experienced, adult volunteers, and I’m guessing a slightly weaker mjolnir.

Were moving closer and closer to imitating the forerunners. In a couple hundred years, well be put in self altering, life sustaining body armor as soon as were born.

Dude, it’s ONI they made that rule so they are breaking it

Where are you getting this from?

The spartan program was supposed to be done but I believe ONI never stopped with it.

I think Halsey scrapped the SII program and Ackerson is just improving upon the SII program’s process and efficiency.

Doubt that. That’s it though. Seems pretty unnecessary.

This guy/gal is right. Everything can be found in The Glasslands Novel.

Depends what augments they get. If they don’t get augmented to a S-IIs level, their bones wont be able to handle mjolnir of the same power.

Well Naomi in Glasslands wears the latest armor and it seems to still require augmentation. It seems that the augmentation part remains the same, but with volunteers rather then children.

We are not sure the armor the S-IVs are wearing is the same being regulated to the other S-IIs.

You got a point we have no cule what S-IV can do or if there wearing mark VII

Augmentations don’t have to be life-altering anymore, as seen in the Spartan-III program. (Then again those augmentations might have been weaker.)

In Halo Glasslands, it is mentioned that Mjolnir mark VII is a more lightweight version of Mjolnir mark VI. Therefore making it possible for regular humans to operate it.

You still need augmentations.

The entire MJOLNIR project was designed around making armor for augmented soldiers. That’s why the S-III Spartans used SPI armor. I doubt the latest and greatest Spartans would go without augmentation considering that the spartan 3 program was designed with suicide missions in mind.

S-IIIs were augmented. S-IIIs could wear MJOLNIR. They only got SPI because it was cheap and expendable.

The Spartan-IV program only consists of adult volunteers. volunteers from UNSC’s military.

You’re right noble team was testing it. still would have been cool to use spi armor in reach though):

Spartan IIs/IIIs=kidnapped children
Spartan IIIIs=adult volunteers
You do the math
