So after listening to the latest sparkast we know that the knight are Prometheans and not knights belonging to the Prometheans. So the knights are smaller than I imagined and I think Promethens have hands which the knights doesn’t seem to have. So have the Prometheans evolved into different groups? Or will the Didact look like the knights?
Another thing Franky says in the sparkast is that the Promtheans was created to fight the Flood, but wasn’t the Didact around when the Humans fought and won against the Flood. The forerunners didn’t know about The Flood when this happend?
Promethean warriors just aren’t robots. They were fully, flesh and blood individuals. I didn’t hear the Sparkcast, but I don’t know if I like what 343 implies.
There is no way those robots are actual Promethean warriors at face value. Perhaps they were uploaded as AIs, but they didn’t evolve into robots. And really, if this was such an effective method of fighting the Flood, it failed horribly.

The Warrior-Servants were quoted by Bornstellar to have arms the size of tree-trunks and about fifteen feet tall.
I would guess that the Promethean Knights are actually the consciousness (or cloned consciousness) of the Warrior-Servants. Like if they fall in battle, their memories are sent to a robotic body.
I say that because 343 has made it known that they are working to integrate all of the Halo verse (games, books, comics, anime, etc.) into one canon. We know that Frank and the rest have worked closely with Greg Bear to develop the Forerunner trilogy. Taking that into account, I doubt they would just blatantly retcon the Prometheans into what we saw in the demo.
Personally, I just hope they don’t nerf the forerunners, I hope they get buffed even more! Helps in debates such as forerunners vs galactic empire on factpile.com
These are not Flesh and Blood Prometheans, but some type of AI.
They look nothing like they were described in Cryptum and Primordium, even Cortana said the single Knight they encountered was “non organic”.
It could mean however that the composer “transferred” the biological soldiers into these AI bodies to survive the Halo array when it fired and still keep guard of Requiem.
