I’ve only encountered them a few times. I’ve been playing Spartan Ops on Legendary alone and there have been times where I would die and I would respawn in the middle of a deathtrap.
Episode 2 Chapter 2, near the end I died and spawned between the enemies waiting and a crap ton of elites behind me and it kept doing it over and over until I killed them all. I had to rush the group in front of me to get the group behind me to move up so I would respawn behind them, then run away because some of the elites had fuel rod cannons and they make it hard to get away. I eventually got through that.
Episdoe 3 Chapter 2, I got backed into a corner by elites and they killed me. I respawned at that point where I died over and over again until I killed them one by one, death after death.
I think this problem was missed in testing because who the hell would play Spartan Ops on Legendary alone. I think either you missed this 343 or you hoped that no-one would find it because respawning of teammates would fix that.
